Overview

The S20020 is the long-range member of the side-rail family. The 17-slot 1913 rail is built with 20 MOA of forward cant, which hands back about twenty minutes of elevation to the scope's internal adjustment - the difference between running out of turret at distance and having room left over.

The high profile raises the optical axis, which suits large-objective scopes and gives a cheek weld that works with an adjustable stock or a raised comb.

The body is CNC-milled from high-strength aluminum alloy; both the clamping tooth and the recoil lug are steel, which is what keeps a heavy scope in place under repeated recoil. It clamps to the standard side rail with a 4 mm hex key at 4 N·m (35 inch-pounds). A low-profile version of the same mount is the S20021.
