In short: A CNC-aluminum side-rail mount that puts a 17-slot 1913 rail over the receiver at 0 MOA, sized around Trijicon ACOG and Primary Arms prism optics.

Overview

The S20016 clamps onto the standard side rail and carries a full-length 17-slot 1913 rail across the top of the receiver. Seventeen slots is a lot of real estate: it lets a long-eye-relief prism optic be positioned exactly where the shooter's head naturally sits, rather than wherever a two-slot mount happens to place it.

The rail sits at 0 MOA, which is the right choice for a red dot or a prism optic used inside a few hundred metres - the optic's own adjustment range does the work and nothing is given away to a built-in cant.

The body is milled from high-strength aluminum alloy and the clamping tooth is steel, so the part of the mount that takes the load against the rail is the part that resists wear. It tightens with a 4 mm hex key to 4 N·m (35 inch-pounds) - no permanent modification to the platform, and the mount comes off exactly as easily as it went on.
