It is a side-mounted quick-detach mount built as a receiver cover with an integrated 1913-MIL-STD rail and a quick-detach interface for the side dovetail.
CNC-milled from high-strength aluminum alloy as a single monolithic part, all clamping elements engaging the dovetail - including the tightening lever - are made of steel. The 19-slot 1913-MIL-STD rail at 0 MOA gives you a long, stable mounting surface for optics and combinations.
