The SAG SVD Cover Optic Mount (S20075) by Sureshot Armament Group is a unique solution for side-rail marksman sporting platforms that lets you mount an optic as low as possible while replacing the receiver cover - with no need to remove the optic for cleaning. Because the optic base stays on the dovetail during maintenance, your zero is preserved over the life of the rifle.
CNC-milled from high-strength aluminum alloy, it is a three-part system: (1) an optic mount that installs on the carbine's dovetail, (2) a recoil-spring post that serves as the base for both the rear cover and the recoil spring, and (3) a removable rear receiver-cover section with its mounting screw. The mount rail carries a 16-slot 1913-MIL-STD rail, and the removable cover carries a 9-slot 1913-MIL-STD rail, both at 0 MOA.
