In short: the DOLG Assault QD is the quick-detach build of the DOLG two-point sling: QD PB swivels at both ends plus a QD socket sewn into the sling body, so it converts to single-point carry in one movement. It shares the 50 mm padded shoulder section and the one-pull adjuster with the standard Assault two-point, and sits alongside the DOLG M3 universal sling in the same family.

Overview

The Assault QD configuration is built around the DOLG signature elastic webbing. Under load the webbing gives by roughly 5 cm and returns, spreading the peak of the load over time instead of letting it arrive at the shoulder as a single shock. DOLG describes this as an anti-gravity effect; in practice it is what lets you carry a loaded platform through a long day without the strap cutting in.

Both ends terminate in QD PB quick-detach swivels, and a QD socket is sewn directly into the sling body. Unclip the rear swivel, drop it into that socket, and the sling becomes a single-point without tools and without re-threading. The pull tape shortens or lengthens the sling by up to 45 cm in one motion, from a 115 cm minimum to a 160 cm maximum, and the built-in 50 mm wide expansion pad carries the load across the shoulder rather than on a single edge.
