DOLG Two-Point Sling - Assault Configuration
Overview
The Assault trim is the version of the DOLG two-point built for switching. NATO quick-release hooks at the front and a D-ring at the rear let the sling move between two-point and single-point carry without tools and without unthreading anything - the configuration changes as fast as the situation does.
Length is handled by the signature pull tab: one movement takes up or lets out as much as 45 cm, across a range of 115 to 160 cm, and the elastic in the webbing adds roughly 5 cm of give on top. The webbing is designed to work against the load rather than with it - the stretch takes the peak out of every step, so the shoulder feels less than the scale says. A 5 cm padded section spreads what is left, and the assembly is rated to 90 kg.
A loop with a half-ring is supplied for mounting to the neck of the stock, so the sling can be fitted to hosts that have no sling point there.
