Overview
The DOLG M3 is built around one idea: the sling stays put on the body while the carbine moves. Changing carry position takes a single pull, and the webbing does not creep across the shoulder afterwards - which is what separates a working two-point from one that has to be re-set every few minutes.
In the transport position the hands are completely free. An emergency-release buckle lets the load be dropped in one movement, and the attachment ends change over quickly, so the same sling moves between hosts instead of staying with one. A wide padded section carries the weight on the shoulder rather than on a narrow band of webbing. A detailed manual covering every carry mode is supplied with the sling.
