In short: the Zenitco B-31U/RPK is an extended CNC-milled D16T aluminum upper bracket that forms a long Picatinny rail over the gas tube and barrel of an RPK-pattern carbine. It runs high enough to keep the standard iron-sight line of sight clear, giving an extended platform for optics above the barrel.
Overview
The B-31U/RPK is the extended gas tube rail for RPK-pattern builds and the civilian carbines based on them, used with the B-20L, B-20U, B-23L and DL-5 brackets, including inside the Sport-5U and Sport-8U kits.
Ten M5x7 screws hold it - more than the standard B-31RPK, because the rail is longer. It clears the line of the standard mechanical sights and is milled from D16T aluminum in black or desert.
