In short: the Zenitco B-23L is a one-piece, CNC-milled D16T aluminum handguard that installs in the standard handguard position of the Saiga-308 carbine. It carries Bazis guide rails on three sides, so you can mount Picatinny rails and accessories directly, and it improves barrel cooling.

Overview

The B-23L replaces the standard lower handguard on the Saiga-308. It is milled from a single billet of D16T aluminum alloy and offered in black or desert.

Bazis guides run along three sides and accept the B-2 (45 mm), B-2L (34 mm), B-2M (15 mm) and B-2U (75 mm) Picatinny adapters, A-1L and A-2L swivels, the A-4 QD swivel bracket, the RL-1 hand stop, front grips RK-0L, RK-1L, RK-2L, RK-4L and RK-6L, NPN-2 panels and FP-3 wire holders.

The B-19RPK upper rail is compatible, and the B-23L is used inside the Sport-8 and Sport-8U kits together with the B-33RPK receiver cover rail. Its slim Bazis profile keeps weight down to 104 g while improving barrel cooling.
