In short: the Sport-12 is a genuine Zenitco two-piece handguard system (upper + lower bracket) that replaces the standard handguard on an AK-12 and TR3-based carbines. It carries six Bazis guide rails, so you can mount Bazis-compatible gear directly on the handguard - hand stops, sling swivels, buttons, wire clips, covers and grips - or add Picatinny brackets anywhere along a rail. Machined from D16T aluminum in black or desert.

The Sport-12 gives you six Bazis rails around the handguard for direct accessory mounting. For Picatinny equipment, add a separate B-2, B-2L, B-2M or B-2U bracket at any point on a Bazis rail. It installs in place of the factory handguard using the two brackets, an axle and four M5x7 screws (all included).

Every part is CNC-milled from D16T aluminum alloy with a protective coating. The kit weighs about 265 g and is 265 mm long, rated for a working temperature range of -50 to +50 C.

Compatibility Note: Fits the AK-12 and TR3-based carbines. Important: it does NOT fit the TR-3 366 TKM. On the TR-3 gen.2, the RK-9 and RK-3 grips cannot be installed. Prefer the classic AK-pattern host? See the Sport-1 kit.
