In short: the Sport-12U is a genuine Zenitco two-piece handguard system (upper + lower bracket) that replaces the standard handguard on an AK-12 and TR3-based carbines. It carries six Bazis guide rails plus a lowered platform at the front for compatible combined front-mounted devices - as a standalone unit or as an integrated block. A longer, more capable version of the Sport-12. Machined from D16T aluminum in black or desert.

The Sport-12U gives you six Bazis rails around the handguard for direct accessory mounting - hand stops, sling swivels, buttons, wire clips, covers, grips - plus a lowered section at the front that acts as a platform for compatible combined front devices. For Picatinny equipment, add a separate B-2, B-2L, B-2M or B-2U bracket anywhere on a Bazis rail. To fit a light on the lower front, the B-2 Leader bracket is recommended (sold separately).

It installs in place of the factory handguard using the two brackets, an axle and six M5x7 screws (all included). Every part is CNC-milled from D16T aluminum alloy. The kit weighs about 315 g and is 330 mm long, rated for a working temperature range of -50 to +50 C.

Compatibility Note: Fits the AK-12 and TR3-based carbines. Important: it does NOT fit the TR-3 366 TKM. On the TR-3 gen.2, the RK-9 and RK-3 grips cannot be installed. See also the shorter Sport-12 kit and the classic Sport-1 kit.
