Overview
The Leader kit replaces the factory handguard on AK-pattern carbines with a barrel of 415 mm or longer, and it arrives as a complete system rather than a single part: the B-10L lower rail, the B-31 Leader rail over the gas tube, an extension insert, and the B-2 Leader top rail that ties the assembly together.
Bazis guides run along all four sides, so hand stops, sling swivels, pressure-switch mounts, wire clips, panels, grips and additional Picatinny sections attach straight to the handguard without adapters. The base kit already carries the Leader hand stopper, tie bar and hook, plus the cam clamp and the ferrule cover, so it goes on complete out of the box. It is not compatible with short-barrel versions.

The Leader kit is a full replacement handguard assembly that installs on the standard handguard location. It combines a B-10L lower handguard, a B-31 Leader upper handguard, a DL Leader rail and a Leader tie, secured with the supplied M5 screws. Together they form a rigid, four-sided modular platform with Basis guides for mounting accessories all the way around.
The lowered front platform leaves room for a combined device such as the Perst Leader, while the open, skeletonized profile keeps weight low and improves airflow around the barrel. The kit is compatible with Zenitco B-2, B-2L, B-2M and B-2U rails, so you can tailor the mounting layout to your setup.
