In short: the Zenitco Leader-S is a modular handguard kit that replaces the factory handguard on AK-pattern carbines. It is the reinforced version of the Leader kit, with a strengthened lower Basis rail. It carries Basis rails on all four sides for mounting Basis-compatible accessories directly, and a lowered front platform designed for a Perst combined device.
Overview
Leader-S is the reinforced Leader kit. It keeps the four-sided Bazis layout of the standard Leader but puts a strengthened guide on the underside, on the B-10LS handguard.
The kit is complete out of the box: handguard, B-31 Leader top rail, DL-S Leader insert, Leader hand stop, tie bar and the reinforced Leader-S hook. For AK-pattern carbines with a barrel of 415 mm or longer - not for short versions.
