In short: the Zenitco Leader Insert Rail is an ergonomic slotted insert for the Zenitco Leader handguard kit. Machined from D16T aircraft aluminum with M-LOK-style slots, it adds accessory-mounting real estate and an improved grip surface to a Leader-equipped forend. Overview
The Leader Insert is a small ergonomic filler for the Zenitco Leader handguard kit. It is fitted into the front section of the B-31 Leader upper rail with four screws.
Its job is to close the open front of the assembly and give the support hand a smooth, continuous surface instead of a rail edge. The slotted profile keeps weight down and lets air reach the barrel.
It is a 43 g part supplied with its own 4x8 screws, so no hardware from the main kit is consumed. Installation takes a hex key and about a minute.
