Zenitco B-33RPK Receiver Cover Rail - CNC Aluminum Picatinny Top Cover (RPK-Pattern)

Overview

The B-33RPK is a milled D16T aluminum receiver cover rail finished in black or desert. It suits carbines with an RPK-based receiver and a detachable standard cover, not one hinged on a pin.

Important: it cannot be fitted on its own. The B-33RPK bolts with four screws into an already installed Zenitco handguard - B-23L (including the Sport-8 and Sport-8U kits), B-20L (including Sport-5 and Sport-5U) or B-20U. The handguard carries the load, which is what makes the assembly rigid.

Once installed the cover forms a Picatinny rail above the receiver that does not block the line of sight through the standard iron sights. Because it is anchored to the handguard, an optic keeps its zero through repeated opening and closing of the receiver. A DO-1 recoil damper and a reinforced rear stop for the recoil spring mechanism are included.

The B-33RPK is a one-piece milled cover that carries a continuous top Picatinny rail over the receiver, so you can mount a magnified optic, a red dot or a night/thermal device and keep zero through repeated opening and closing. It sits low enough to leave standard mechanical sights usable.

It mounts onto a Zenitco handguard - a B-23L (including the Sport-8 / Sport-8U kits), a B-20L (including the Sport-5 / Sport-5U kits) or a B-20U - using four screws, with a steel insert at the front that locates into the receiver for a solid fit. The kit ships with the B-33RPK cover, a rear return-spring stop and guide, a DO-1 recoil damper, four mounting screws and a manual.
