Overview

The steel embed is the part of the B-33 receiver cover rail that takes the load at the chamber end. It ships inside every B-33 and is sold here separately as a spare.

Because it is steel and the cover around it is aluminum, the embed is what survives the repeated impact of seating and unseating the cover. When it wears, the cover starts to sit loose and an optic stops returning to zero - replacing the embed fixes that without replacing the rail.

It comes with its own screw. At 18 g and 28 x 23 x 8 mm it is a small part with a disproportionate effect on how well the cover holds.

The steel embed is the small anchor piece that holds a Zenitco B-33 over-receiver Picatinny cover in place. If you have lost or worn the original, or you are moving a B-33 cover to another host, this is the exact factory part you need. It fits both the standard B-33 and the B-33RPK receiver cover rails.

The part is machined from steel and weighs about 18 g (+/- 5 g). Overall dimensions are approximately 28 x 23 x 8 mm. The kit includes the steel embed and one screw.
