Overview
The DO-1 is a recoil damper that fits onto the return spring mechanism of the B-33RPK receiver cover rail. It is supplied as standard with the B-33RPK and offered separately as a spare.
Its job is to absorb the impact of the carrier at the end of its travel. That protects the rear stop of the cover and, with it, the zero of an optic mounted on the rail.
Note the restriction from the manufacturer: the damper is intended for the B-33RPK. Using it with the standard B-33 receiver cover rail is not recommended.
