Overview
The S20036 is the non-folding-mount version of SAG's adjustable marksman stock. It fits side-rail marksman sporting platforms whose stock mount does not fold, and turns a fixed stock into one that adapts to the shooter rather than the other way round.
Length of pull runs 290-390 mm (11.5-15.5 inches from the trigger guard), the cheek riser lifts up to 56 mm and the buttpad travels 38 mm either way. Every one of those adjustments is made by hand: no tools, no shims, no dismounting. An AR-pattern sidearm grip adapter is included in the box, so the grip can be changed to an AR-pattern unit at the same time.
The body is CNC-milled from high-strength aluminum alloy with steel hardware at the adjustment points, so settings stay where you put them. The geometry is optimised for an optic; with standard iron sights the cheek height gives a comfortable sight picture only at rear-sight setting "8", which requires zeroing the irons at that setting. For platforms with a folding stock mount, SAG makes the S20037 instead.
