SAG Adjustable Stock with 5.5mm Adapter - CNC Aluminum, Tool-Free Adjustment

Overview

The S20035 is the version of the SAG adjustable stock that ships with its mounting adapter already in the box. It fits side-folding sporting platforms built on a 5.5 mm rear trunnion, replacing the folding stock unit with a stock whose length of pull, comb height and buttpad height all move to fit the shooter.

Everything adjusts by hand. Length of pull runs from 290 to 390 mm (11.5 to 15.5 inches, measured from the trigger guard), the cheek riser climbs up to 56 mm, and the buttpad moves 38 mm up or down. No tools, no shims, no removing the stock to change a setting - which matters when the same carbine is shared, or shot in both a heavy jacket and a shirt.

The body is CNC-milled from high-strength aluminum alloy and the moving hardware is steel, so the settings hold their position under recoil instead of creeping. The stock is built around an optic: with standard iron sights a comfortable cheek weld is only available at rear-sight setting "8", which means zeroing the irons at that setting if you intend to use them.

Note: This stock is optimized for use with an optic. When using standard iron sights, the cheek-riser height allows a comfortable sight picture only at rear-sight setting "8", which requires zeroing the irons at that setting.
