In short: a genuine Zenitco RP-1 - a compact enlarged knob that fits over the standard reciprocating charging handle of most AK-pattern carbines. It roughly doubles the grip surface, so the action is far easier and faster to cycle, even with gloves or cold hands. Machined from D16T aluminum alloy; only about 17 g. Mounts with the two included screws. Available in black, desert and golden khaki.
The RP-1 is a simple, rugged upgrade to the factory charging handle. Its deeply ribbed cylindrical body slips over the standard reciprocating handle and is locked in place with two screws, giving a much larger and more positive purchase for cocking. This makes charging quicker and more comfortable during sport shooting and training - particularly when wearing gloves or working in the cold.
A genuine Zenitco factory part machined from D16T aluminum alloy; it measures about 27 x 18 mm and weighs only about 17 g. Rated for a working temperature range of -50 to +50 C.
Compatibility Note: Fits the standard reciprocating charging handle of most AK-pattern carbines. It is NOT compatible with certain compact short-barrel or older stamped-receiver variants. Ships with a hex key, two mounting screws and a manual.
