Overview
The RP-1 is a milled D16T aluminum knob that clamps onto the standard bolt handle and makes it substantially larger. At 17 g and 18 x 27 mm it adds almost nothing to the carbine, but it gives the hand a real surface to pull on - which is what matters with gloves, in the cold, or when the bolt is stiff.
Installation uses the two supplied screws and the hex key from the box: the factory bolt handle stays in place and nothing is machined or replaced. The RP-1 fits AK-pattern carbines and civilia carbines built on that platform, with the exception of the short-barrel U variant and the non-folding AK-pattern models. Finished in Black or Desert.

The RP-1 is a simple, rugged upgrade to the factory charging handle. Its deeply ribbed cylindrical body slips over the standard reciprocating handle and is locked in place with two screws, giving a much larger and more positive purchase for cocking. This makes charging quicker and more comfortable during sport range use and training - particularly when wearing gloves or working in the cold.
A genuine Zenitco factory part machined from D16T aluminum alloy; it measures about 27 x 18 mm and weighs only about 17 g. Rated for a working temperature range of -50 to +50 C.
