In short: the Zenitco BN-1 is the genuine VT-6 titanium barrel nut that forms the foundation of the Zenitco Joker free-float handguard system for AR-15 carbines. The B-70/B-80 series upper and lower rails clamp onto it to build a rigid, free-floating forend.
Overview
The BN-1 is the barrel nut that the Joker handguard brackets mount to. It is machined from titanium rather than steel or aluminum, which is where the weight saving in a Joker build comes from.
It replaces the factory barrel nut on an AR-15 upper and forms the base that the B-70 series upper and B-80 series lower brackets clamp onto. Without it the Joker brackets have nothing to attach to.
Compatibility Note: for AR-15 platforms, replacing the factory barrel nut. It is the mounting base for the Joker series upper and lower handguard brackets.
Compatibility: AR-15 pattern upper receivers with standard barrel-nut threads. Required base for Zenitco Joker rails (B-70 and B-80 series).
