In short: Same idea as the Tekker-K - a flat steel plate instead of a wire retaining spring - with the outline changed so it clears an ambidextrous selector on the Vepr-12 platform.
Overview
An ambidextrous selector puts a second lever and its shaft where the standard retainer wants to sit. The result is usually a compromise: bend the wire, or do without.
This version is cut to clear that hardware. It still spans both pins, still locates on the pin heads, and still fits and comes off by hand.
Steel, black finish, 10 g. Gen II tidies the outline of the first version for an easier fit.
