Overview
The SV Saiga-9 is a shot stabilizer that replaces the standard muzzle device on the Saiga-9 platform. It compensates recoil and holds the muzzle down between shots.
It also cuts the visible flash and spreads the sound rather than concentrating it, which makes the report more comfortable and reduces the load on hearing. It is not a sound muzzle device.
Unlike the DTK version, the SV is a serviceable design: unscrew the end cap, lift out the stainless steel mesh, wash it and reassemble. Zenitco recommends cleaning after every use. The body is VT-6 titanium - 265 g over 106 mm, on a 16x1 RH thread - and it is recommended together with the Sport-2 and Sport-3 tuning kits.
