RPT Brest M-LOK Vertical Grip - 65 g Duralumin, Storage Core

Overview

The design brief here was minimum weight and minimum fuss. The body is duralumin with a plain profile - no protruding parts, no aggressive shapes - and the whole assembly comes in at roughly 65 g. To recover the grip area that a slim body loses, RPT added shoulders that ride up onto the handguard where the grip clamps to the M-LOK slot, so your hand has more to hold than the 88 mm of body alone would suggest.

At 88 mm the Brest suits every style of hold, works on heavier builds and can be mounted at an angle rather than straight down. The finish is a hard black anodising with a matte Taiga paint, chosen for wear resistance rather than looks. Inside the body is a dust and water sealed container closed by a polymer cap with a gasket - it screws off with a twist, and it is the right size for spare screws, a battery or anything else small you would rather not lose. A spare pair of flat-slot screws ships in the box.
