Overview
Where the Klesch-1 focuses its beam, the Klesch-1S deliberately does not. Without a reflector it throws a roughly 160-degree wall of light, which is what you want when the distance is a room rather than a field - nothing is left in shadow at the edges.
Working range is up to about 15 m. It runs on two CR123A cells at 3 V for no less than 1.2 hours of stable output, measures 64 x 38 x 34 mm with the sidearm cap fitted, and weighs 101 g with cells in. A leather pouch is supplied with it.
