In short: the Zenitco B-18 (Classic) is a one-piece, CNC-milled D16T aluminum adapter that clamps onto the standard AK-pattern rear sight and forms a Picatinny rail over the receiver, giving you a solid place to mount a red dot or other optic. It installs in seconds with the two supplied screws and a hex wrench.
Overview
The B-18 turns the standard rear sight of the AK-pattern into a Picatinny mounting point. It is milled from a single billet of D16T aluminum alloy and finished in black or desert.
The adapter slips over the rear sight and is locked by two screws driven with the supplied hex key. Nothing is drilled and nothing is replaced, so the carbine can be returned to its original configuration in a minute.
Once fitted, the B-18 forms a short Picatinny section above the receiver for a red dot sight or a compact night device. At 53 g it is the lightest way to add an optic mount to an AK-pattern without changing the receiver cover.
