Zenitco Zhuk-2 Bipod - Folding Adjustable Side-Mount Bipod for Basis Rails & Picatinny (Ships with 4 Cam Clamps)

Overview

The Zhuk-2 is the second-generation folding bipod for the Bazis side guides of Zenitco handguards. Like the Zhuk-1 it mounts on the sides rather than under the handguard, which keeps the bottom rail free for a light or a grip.

Each leg mounts independently and folds back along the handguard when not in use, so the profile of the carbine stays clean during transport.

Four cam clamps and two M5x9 screws ship with the set, enough to mount both legs on a Bazis guide. A Picatinny-to-Bazis adapter or the Summator, both sold separately, allow use on a Picatinny rail.

Unlike a bottom-mounted bipod, the Zhuk-2 attaches to the two side Basis guide rails of the handguard, keeping the underside of your setup clear. The two legs deploy to the sides and lock, giving you a stable rest for prone and bench range use, then fold back flat along the handguard when you are on the move. Leg length is adjustable so you can level the platform on uneven ground.

It installs on the side Basis rails found on Zenitco handguards. Installation on a Picatinny rail is possible using the separate Picatinny-Basis adapter, and the bipod can also be fitted on the underside using the separate Summator adapter. The kit includes two bipod legs, four cam clamps and two M5x9 screws with a manual.
