Zenitco Zhuk-1 Bipod - Folding Adjustable CNC Aluminum Bipod for Basis Rails / Picatinny

Overview

The Zhuk-1 is a folding, height-adjustable bipod made from D16T aluminum alloy. Unlike most bipods it is designed for the Bazis side guides of Zenitco handguards rather than for a bottom Picatinny section.

Each leg is a separate unit: they mount on the left and right Bazis guides and fold back along the handguard when not needed. One leg weighs 134 g without its hardware and extends from 250 mm folded to 325 mm deployed.

Mounting on a Bazis guide uses either two cam clamps or one cam clamp and an M5x9 screw, all supplied. A Picatinny-to-Bazis adapter or the Summator, both sold separately, let the same bipod go onto a Picatinny rail.

The Zhuk-1 is Zenitco's modular take on a bipod. Instead of a single fixed unit, it uses two separate legs that each mount on the Basis side rails of a compatible handguard, so you can position them independently and get a stable, adjustable support. Each leg telescopes from about 250 mm folded to about 325 mm extended and folds away neatly when you are on the move. With the appropriate Picatinny-Basis adapter or summator (both sold separately) it also works on Picatinny-equipped setups.

A genuine Zenitco factory part machined from D16T aluminum alloy; each leg weighs about 134 g (without mounting hardware). Rated for a working temperature range of -50 to +50 C.
