In short: Zenitco Zhuk-1 is a pair of folding, length-adjustable support legs designed for direct installation on the two side Bazis guides of a compatible handguard. Picatinny installation requires two Picatinny-to-Bazis adapters, sold separately.

Selection checkpoint: the documented direct interface is a pair of side Bazis guides. A Picatinny rail alone does not accept Zhuk-1 without the matching adapters.
Two documented Bazis attachment methods
- Two cam clamps per leg: use the oval openings in the Bazis guide.
- One cam clamp plus one M5×9 screw per leg: place the M5×9 where the upper and lower guide components meet, replacing the M5×7 screw at that position.
Each cam must rotate 90° into its locked position. Each leg folds by pulling and rotating it, and adjusts independently from 250 ± 5 mm folded to 325 ± 5 mm extended.

Installation outline
- Confirm that both mounting positions use the same documented interface route.
- For direct Bazis installation, choose either two cam clamps or one cam clamp plus one M5×9 screw for each leg.
- For Picatinny, first attach each leg to a separate Picatinny-to-Bazis adapter, then secure both adapters to the side rails.
- For a Summator route, attach both legs to the compatible Summator with the cam clamps.
- Deploy and adjust both legs, then confirm every fastener and locking position.
