Overview
A square-edged sight is fine on a range pistol and a nuisance on a carried one. It catches the lining of a bag, it scrapes a hand during a fast draw, and it wears a bright line into whatever it rubs against.
The SMP PM-2 keeps a usable square notch but rounds every outside edge and corner. The profile is low and smooth, which is what a carry sight needs.
