SMP PM-1 - Horseshoe Notch, Longer Sight Radius
A rear sight that gives the eye something to find in poor light.
In short: Replaces the standard rear sight on the Makarov pistol. The horseshoe cut is filled with luminescent paint and the body pushes the notch further back, lengthening the sight radius.
Overview
The factory notch is small, square and the same colour as everything around it. In dim light the eye hunts for it, and the short sight radius makes small alignment errors expensive.
The SMP PM-1 cuts a horseshoe instead of a square notch and fills the outline with luminescent paint. The bright U frames the front post, so alignment reads at a glance rather than by careful comparison.
The body also sets the notch further to the rear, which lengthens the sight radius. Same steel, same fitting, 10 g.
