In short: the Stich Profi 18806-096 is a shoulder yoke that carries the weight of a loaded belt or support band on the shoulders instead of the waist. Six attachment straps let it work with wide support bands as well as a belt.
Overview
The system takes the downward pull of a loaded belt off the hips and spreads it across both shoulders, so the belt stops sliding down as gear is added. Six attachment straps mean it mates with six-point support bands as well as with a plain belt, and the straps are set at an angle so they sit correctly on a wide band.
The front carries fastex-closed tensioners for a tighter fit. D-rings on the front and back of the straps take extra hardware, MOLLE cells run down both faces for mounting pouches, and the back has a drag loop and a hook-tape panel. Elastic keepers along the straps route radio cable and hydration tube. The system is cut from 1000D nylon with WJ and Duraflex hardware and weighs 380 g.
