Stich Profi 60508 Scout Field Shirt
Overview
The Scout is the lightest shirt in the Stich Profi field range, aimed at sport and an active outdoor life rather than heavy load carriage. The body fabric blends 35% viscose with 65% polyester: the viscose fibre brings moisture uptake, breathability and comfort against the skin, while the polyester supplies the strength, abrasion resistance and crease recovery that a natural fibre on its own cannot.
Side panels and sleeve gussets are cut from an elastic knit - 75% polyester, 25% Tencel, a fibre made from Australian eucalyptus wood. Tencel is breathable, absorbent, naturally antibacterial and resists creasing, and putting it where the shirt has to stretch is what gives the Scout its freedom of movement. Two flapped patch pockets sit on the chest and two more on the sleeves, all closed with hook-and-loop; the sleeve flaps carry extra loop panels for patches, and a hook-and-loop tab adjusts the cuff width.
