Overview
The S20048 is the MK3 SLIM for shooters who have committed to an optic. Without a rear sight cutout the top rail runs unbroken over its whole length, which means an optic and a clip-on thermal or night-vision unit can be placed anywhere on it and remain co-aligned.
The trade is the factory rear sight: the rear sight base is reduced and the iron sight is not retained. If you want to keep irons as a backup, the S20050 is the same chassis with a rear sight cutout.
The handguard is slim with 4-slot M-LOK panels and the barrel free-floats inside it. A further 1913 segment sits on the removable rear cover section. CNC-milled high-strength aluminum alloy with steel inserts and fasteners, and reusable on another carbine.
Installation Note
Installation requires removing the factory handguard ferrule and reducing (trimming) the rear sight base for the full-length rail. This is the full-rail version; the factory rear sight is not retained.
This chassis is not suitable for self-installation on full-size carbines built on certain Molot Arms AK-pattern receivers (MA-136-02, MA-136C, MA-136-05); those require a specialist workshop. Install in accordance with the manual.
