In short: Zenitco PT-5 replaces the original non-folding rear assembly on AKM and AK-74 with an adjustable folding system. It uses the original two-screw fixed-stock interface, adjusts from 261 to 361 mm and is explicitly excluded from AK-74M, B-13 and every dovetail side-mount path.

Selection checkpoint: PT-5 is for the documented fixed-stock AKM and AK-74 route. It does not use a PT-series folding-axis adapter. Do not select it for AK-74M or any configuration that must retain a B-13 or other dovetail side mount.
Adjustments and operation
Length adjusts from 261 to 361 mm. Cheek height and rubber rear-pad height adjust independently. The mechanism folds and locks alongside the receiver at any telescopic position, while the cheek in its lowest position preserves access to the original sight line.

Installation
Remove the original non-folding assembly and its two upper screws according to the service instructions. Seat PT-5 in the original internal interface, secure it with the two screws and complete reassembly. No machining is required.
