The B-13 is the simplest and more affordable solution. It attaches directly to the side dovetail rail and requires no additional modifications. However, not all AK platforms include a factory dovetail rail.

The B-33 receiver cover forms a full-length Picatinny rail and maintains zero even after repeated opening. When paired with compatible handguards like the popular B-10U, it offers extended functionality while reducing overall system weight compared to the B-13 setup.
