In short: the Stich Profi 18743-076 is a pair of polymer quick-release mounts that let any FASTCLIP-equipped pouch attach to five cells of MOLLE webbing. It is the interface used by the lantern mount, the handcuff pouch and the lightweight magazine pouches.
Overview
Each mount is a single moulded polymer strip that threads through five MOLLE cells and locks with a snap tab. Unlike woven straps there is nothing to re-weave: press the tab and the pouch lifts straight off the panel.
The polymer is chosen to stay flexible in the cold rather than becoming brittle, and the locking tab is thick enough to work with gloves on. Sold as a set of two, which is what a single standard pouch needs.
