Overview
Most blanket bags come in left-hand and right-hand versions, and two of the same hand will not join. Expert-Tex build the Traveler with a single symmetrical zip layout instead, so any two of them pair up. Zipped together they make a 220 x 160 cm double sleeping surface, which is the reason most people buy them in twos.
On its own it is a 220 x 80 cm blanket bag, 200 x 80 cm with the hood folded, opening flat to 220 x 160 cm. One Thinsulate layer at 250 g per square metre puts extreme at -13 C, lower comfort at -1 C and upper comfort at +4 C. The shell is micro ripstop Dewspo with a TPU 10000/10000 membrane and the lining is cotton flannel. It weighs 1940 g and packs to 55 x 35 x 18 cm.
