extended version of the
B-5 riser. It clamps onto a
Picatinny rail and provides a longer Picatinny rail higher up, leaving a
see-through optical channel between the two levels. The longer top rail suits larger optics and thermal units; the V2.0 version uses a
quick-detach lever for tool-free mounting with a repeatable return to zero.
Overview
The B-5VU V2.0 is the tall member of the Zenitco riser family. It is a Picatinny-to-Picatinny adapter with an optical channel between the two rail surfaces.
Its height is chosen so that a Gran thermal device and a red dot sight with a 30 mm optical axis can be used together on one platform - the thermal device below, the red dot sight above, both on their own mounting line.
Compatibility covers the Vzor-1 on the PV-30 spacer supplied with the sight, the Vzor-3, Vzor-3T and Vzor-3TK on the PV-30 spacer sold separately, and the Vzor-5, Vzor-5T and Vzor-5TK in their standard configuration. At 84 g the riser adds little to the balance of the platform.

Compatibility: mounts on any standard Picatinny rail and accepts any Picatinny-footprint optic, red-dot platform, thermal or accessory on its raised rail. The open channel underneath keeps a lower optic or backup sights visible through the riser.
