In short: the Zenitco B-5 is a compact riser that clamps onto a Picatinny rail and provides a second Picatinny rail higher up, leaving a see-through optical channel between the two levels. The V2.0 version uses a quick-detach lever for tool-free mounting and removal with a repeatable return to zero.
Overview
The B-5 V2.0 is a Picatinny-to-Picatinny riser that raises an accessory while leaving an optical channel underneath. Through that channel the standard iron sights stay visible, so a red dot sight and a mechanical backup can be used on the same platform.
The current version carries a quick-detach lever with a safety catch. Opening the lever frees the riser, closing it clamps the mount back onto the rail in the same slot, so an optic mounted on the riser returns close to its previous zero.
If play appears after long use, the clamp is adjusted without tools beyond a flat screwdriver: press the screw catch, turn the screw clockwise until the play disappears and release the catch so it drops into the slot of the screw. Two versions exist - with and without the quick-detach lever.
