Overview
A red dot lens is a mirror when the sun hits it at the wrong angle - a flash the user does not want to give away, and a wash of glare that makes the dot hard to read. The honeycomb screen inside this hood blocks light arriving off-axis and lets through only what is in front of the sight.
It clamps onto the objective end of a Vzor sight and stays on; the sight picture stays clear and the dot keeps its contrast in bright light.
