Zenitco's lineup of QD sling swivel brackets — A-4, A-5, A-6, A-7, and A-8 — gives users the flexibility to place a quick-detach sling socket exactly where they need it. Each bracket is engineered for a specific mounting location on the AK-pattern platform, and all are fully compatible with the new Poloz-1 sling system as well as standalone QD swivels.
The Poloz-1 Sling — One-Point or Two-Point, Your Choice
Zenitco has released the Poloz-1 tactical sling, designed to work in both one-point and two-point configurations. It attaches to the sport carbine via quick-detach swivel brackets, making transitions between carry modes fast and tool-free.
Hardware on the Poloz-1 is manufactured from stainless steel. The webbing is sourced from the same Cheboksary-made strap used on standard-issue slings — currently considered the best available on the market. The key reason: it does not melt when it contacts parts of the carbine that become extremely hot after intensive sporting sessions. Webbing made from other materials can melt under those conditions. Zenitco plans to release a dedicated video demonstrating this property.
QD Swivel Bracket Models — Full Breakdown
A-4 — Basis Rail Mount
The A-4 bracket installs onto the Basis rail and creates a QD swivel socket at that location. It can be secured to the Basis rail in two ways: either via a screw at the junction of the upper and lower bracket sections, or using a cam-lock clamp. Compatible with the Basis rail found on the B-11U handguard and the Leader kit.
A-5 — PT-1 / PT-1S Stock, Single-Point Position
The A-5 is designed specifically for owners of PT-1 and PT-1S stocks. These stocks come factory-equipped with two swivel options — a single-point attachment and a loop-style attachment. The A-5 bracket installs in the position originally occupied by the single-point swivel, replacing it with a proper QD socket.
A-6 — PT-1 / PT-1S Loop Swivel, Metal Attachment
The A-6 was originally designed to mount onto the loop-style swivel of PT-1 and PT-1S stocks, but its applications extend beyond that configuration depending on your carbine's setup. It attaches using a solid metal fitting.
A-7 — Loop Swivel Mount, Rubberized Cable
Where the A-6 uses a metal fitting, the A-7 uses a rubberized cable loop — the same type found on the popular A-2L swivel. It can attach to the loop-style swivel on PT-1 and PT-1S stocks, or to other attachment points depending on your carbine's configuration.
A-8 — Picatinny Rail Mount
The A-8 mounts to any Picatinny rail section and creates a QD swivel socket at that location, giving you maximum flexibility for sling attachment wherever a Picatinny segment is available on your carbine.
PT-3 and PT-3S Stocks — QD Socket Built In
It is worth noting that PT-3 and PT-3S stocks already include a factory-integrated QD swivel socket, so no additional bracket is required for those platforms. Zenitco has stated that future product designs will also incorporate native QD swivel mounting capability.
Standalone QD Swivels — ABS-31 and ABS-37
The quick-detach swivels included in the Poloz-1 sling kit are available for individual purchase as well. There are two variants to suit different webbing widths:
