In short: a folding map board that straps to the wrist - or to the outside of a stock - holding a grid square and a pen where you can read it without stopping.
Overview
The Hishchnik keeps the sheet you are actually navigating from on your forearm. Two rectangular panels hinge together: a folding pocket takes the map, and a flat zip pocket underneath holds pens, a compass card or a note pad.
Several internal compartments let you carry more than one sheet and swap between them without unfolding the whole board. The transparent face keeps the sheet readable and dry while you work over it.
The strap arrangement fits over a sleeve or a heavy glove cuff, and the same mounting works on the outside of a stock when you would rather have the board there than on the arm.
Compatibility: Wrist mount, fits over outerwear sleeves. Also mounts flat to a stock.
