Universal camouflage net Mirage

Overview

The net is a rectangle of open mesh: it hides the shape without hiding the person under a solid sheet that would trap heat and block movement. Because it is mesh, it can be looked and worked through rather than lifted every time something needs doing.

The same piece serves several jobs - thrown over the shoulders it breaks the human outline, laid over kit or cargo it removes the straight edges that give equipment away, and used at a prepared position it covers the position itself. It packs down small enough to carry as a matter of course rather than only when it is expected to be needed.
