Overview
A tourniquet is only useful if it is on the body and reachable with either hand. The supplied MOLLE holder is what makes that possible - it fixes the tourniquet to a carrier, a chest rig or a belt in a known position instead of leaving it buried in a pack.
The strap runs on internal webbing so the tension goes into the limb rather than into stretching the outer band, and the windlass locks once the bleeding stops. It is intended for first aid on open bleeding from the upper and lower limbs.
