In short: The competition version of the Tabletka follower: a wider bearing face, the guide tail removed and a hole drilled through the base so the tube breathes and drains.
Overview
Speed loading punishes a follower. Shells go in fast and out of square, and a narrow follower can tip and bind at exactly the wrong moment. The 870S answers that with a larger outer profile that rides squarely against the tube wall.
The guide tail is gone. That shortens the part, removes the surface most likely to catch on a spring coil, and leaves more usable length inside the tube.
A through hole in the base lets air and any liquid pass, so the follower does not act as a piston against trapped air and water does not sit behind it. Same anodised duralumin as the standard version, under 10 g.
