Overview
Moving a holster or a pouch onto the thigh clears the belt line and puts the item where the hand falls naturally with the arm down, which shortens the reach. The face is a full PALS field, so any MOLLE carrier mounts to it.
Four straps - two vertical to the belt and two around the leg - hold the panel square regardless of build, clothing thickness or how hard the wearer is moving, so the platform does not rotate around the thigh. The load is spread across the strap set rather than hanging off one point.
