In short: This Zenitco adapter connects a compatible PT-1, PT-1S, PT-3 or PT-3S stock to the selected platform interface. The exact version is determined by the model, axis diameter and interlock geometry. The fixed AKM-pattern version supports PT-1 and PT-1S only.

Compatibility limits
The fixed AKM-pattern adapter works with PT-1 and PT-1S only. It does not work with PT-3 or PT-3S. PT-5 uses its own integrated attachment. RPK and RPK-based Vepr PT variants use their own built-in interfaces.
Similar-looking 5.5 mm versions are not interchangeable: their interlock cuts differ. Confirm the exact model designation and rear-interface geometry before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Are all 5.5 mm adapters interchangeable?
No. AK/Vityaz, civilian AK-pattern and Saiga-9/TR9/TR3 versions use different interlock geometry.
Which version works with PT-3?
The four folding-axis selections support PT-3/PT-3S when matched to the exact platform. The fixed AKM-pattern version does not.
Does PT-5 use this adapter?
No. PT-5 has an integrated attachment and does not use this removable adapter.
Why is the exact model required?
Axis diameter alone is insufficient. The interlock cut and rear-interface geometry must also match the exact model.
