Stich Profi 19330-0172 Blood Group Patch
Genuine Stich Profi | Embroidered blood group and Rh marker on hook backing | Black, Olive, Beige
In short: the Stich Profi 19330-0172 is an embroidered patch carrying the wearer blood group and Rh factor in the standard notation. Eight variants cover every group and Rh combination, plus a blank Standard version.
Overview
The marking is embroidered in contrasting thread rather than printed, so it stays legible after abrasion and washing that would destroy a printed panel. The notation follows the common ABO plus Rh convention, which is what a responder will be looking for.
It is worn as an aid to the people around the wearer, not as a medical record - typing is still confirmed by test before any transfusion. The hook backing mates with any loop panel, so it can be moved between a jacket sleeve, a chest rig and a pack.
