In short: a genuine Zenitco RK-9 - a slim anatomical rear pistol grip that replaces the standard AK-pattern pistol grip for a more comfortable, secure hold. Its dimpled surface gives a sure grip, and the base unscrews to reveal a sealed internal storage container. Machined from D16T aluminum alloy; about 160 g. Installs with the single included M6x25 grip screw. Available in black, desert and green.
The RK-9 is a drop-in upgrade to the factory AK-pattern pistol grip with a slim, ergonomic profile. Its anatomical shape fills the hand and its dimpled texture keeps a positive hold in any condition, while the sealed compartment inside the grip is handy for spare batteries, a cleaning kit or small parts. To fit it, the standard pistol grip is removed and the RK-9 is bolted on in its place with the supplied grip screw.
A genuine Zenitco factory part machined from D16T aluminum alloy with a wear-resistant coating; it measures about 118 x 32 x 73 mm and weighs about 160 g (without the grip screw and keys). Rated for a working temperature range of -50 to +50 C.
Compatibility Note: Fits the standard pistol-grip mount of AK-pattern carbines - it installs in place of the factory pistol grip. Note: some newer AK-pattern variants may require a different grip screw. Ships with a grip screw (M6x25), two hex keys and a manual.
