Removable side dovetail joint kit for AK-pattern

Overview

The removable Armacon side bracket forms a Dovetail bar for mounting optics on the AK-pattern or AK-pattern, which initially lack the ability to install side brackets for sighting systems. The bar is made of steel, which ensures a secure fit and stable retention on the platform's receiver. The bracket is installed on platforms without a side bar (AK-pattern) at the points where the heads of the trigger mechanism axes come out. In this case, the standard axes are replaced with specially shaped screws. If the bar does not fit tightly when installed on the receiver, it is recommended to hammer it through a wooden spacer to improve the fit. This must be done before tightening and installing the screws. We recommend using blue (detachable) thread lock when installing the axle screws. The rail is compatible with all scope mounts designed for dovetail mounting. No drilling required. The axle screws have a special design with a low-profile head for correct operation of the safety.

The dovetail is made of 40X steel, the surface has been carbonitrided.
